Since my early childhood I have been fascinated by computer technology! Wherever and whenever I could, I occupied myself with these devices. So it's hardly surprising that I'm a software developer these days. One day - thanks to my uncle who was running a disco - I discovered, that it's possible to make music using computers! I started to learn Cubase on an Atari, using a combination of samplers, mixers and synths by Yamaha and Korg. From this day I played with these devices as much as I could, experimenting and trying out new things with each visit! This was the beginning of my dream to be able to do this in my own studio, so that I would no longer have to wait until the next visit!

In 1996 I joined a rock band and learned to play the bass guitar. If I hadn't been so lazy, my skills would probably be much better now. ;-) We had a great time for some years - recording our songs in small studios and doing live gigs! But a band always means making musical compromises, because every member has a different taste. At the end of the day, each member of the band has to be happy with it's output! It became clearer and clearer, that it wasn't the right thing for me, as I was still looking forward to the sessions in my uncle's studio.

In 2000 I joined a death metal band. This turned out to be a less successful venture as you will see below. At the first session the band presented their motto: "We all love the same kind of music - no compromises!". I thought, OK... I like death metal as well, but... hmmm, that's not everything, right?! ... and so I left the band shortly afterwards.

Soon thereafter I bought a synthesizer. Later I got some guitars and microphones.

Since 2003 I'm publishing music in the internet under the project name OSAR. The songs are mostly electronical orientated and will be produced in my project studio.
